Asia Future Fellows – Brisbane program 2019

The annual Asia Future Fellows Program is a Griffith and Peking University global exchange initiative designed exclusively for undergraduate students where a select group of Griffith University and Peking University students come together for two, intensive one-week programs held in Brisbane and Beijing. The program provides a full week of professional, industry, government, and cultural activities.

The 2019 Brisbane program ran from 25-30 June  giving students a unique opportunity to enrich their studies and think about their role as future leaders in a dynamic but uncertain Asia Pacific.

Between the formal seminars and briefings on the program students were given a guided tour of the Gallery of Modern Art and the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China, enjoyed the view from Mt Coot-tha, and experienced Brisbane with a ‘selfie safari’ around South Bank. They also had the chance to meet and hold the native animals at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, go for forest and ocean-view walks and soak up the sunshine at Surfer’s Paradise and make new friends.

Next stop… Beijing!
