Griffith Asia Institute and Hotel Jen invite you to hear contemporary stories at the luncheon series \u2018Food Conversations\u2019, led by 612ABC Weekends presenter Katrina Davidson.<\/em><\/p>\n

Food and agribusiness trade to Asia is an attractive, accelerating multi-billion dollar industry segment. Strong economic growth in the region combined with the increasing demand for food products is driving export opportunities. Increased income and wealth of households has created a great interest among consumers for imported products particularly Australian foods. Unpacking this opportunity is paramount and in particular understanding the \u2018premium brand story\u2019.<\/p>\n

The conversation will explore key agribusiness themes with an outstanding panel of industry and business research leaders who bring a wealth of experience and diverse range of perspectives about Asian business to the table.<\/p>\n

He is a game-changing business strategist with more than 20 years\u2019 experience working across a wide range of horticulture industries in research, production, marketing, business development and industry strategy in Australia and overseas.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor Robin E Roberts, Research Leader \u2013 Agribusiness, Griffith Asia Institute, Griffith University<\/p>\n

Robin has more than twenty years experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry sector and has proven success in delivering enhanced business performance through innovative market research. Her understanding of and interest in Asia underscores her achievements as an agribusiness researcher.<\/p>\n
