During this time, he covered some of the most significant tensions in the country&#8217;s relationship with Australia including asylum seeker boat tragedies and the Australian government\u2019s boat turn-backs, the fallout from revelations of Australian spying, as well as the 2014 presidential election and the execution of two Australian drug smugglers.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this post he covered Federal Politics for ABC Radio and TV in Canberra, was a multimedia reporter in the Sydney newsroom and was western Sydney reporter for ABC Radio and TV News. He\u2019s also been a radio news presenter and producer for both ABC News and triple j.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Perspectives:Asia seminar series is a program of public seminars designed to explore issues of contemporary culture, politics and society in our region, while also fostering public discussion of Australia\u2019s relations with Asia.
