There is a distinct lack of Asian-Australians on our screens, and a perceived hesitation to represent Australia\u2019s unique migrant stories in our popular culture. This panel asks: Have media representations and Australian popular culture kept up-to-date with the lived experiences and histories of Asian-Australians? If not, why not? What stories are being told and what stereotypes are being perpetuated?
