Now, in one of her last official acts before she ends her term on Tuesday, the International Criminal Court\u2019s Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icc-cpi.int\/Pages\/item.aspx?name=210614-prosecutor-statement-philippines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asked<\/a>\u00a0to formally investigate these crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If approved, this would increase the number of investigations in the Asia-Pacific.
