Report on Racism in Australian Schools No Surprise to Education Researchers: GIER researcher response

This week, ABC's Mary Lloyd reported on a survey that found 91% of African-Australian respondents had experienced racism in a school context.  GIER's Professor Leonie Rowan says that this latest report comes as no surprise to anyone who has been researching the experiences of Australia's diverse learners for the past 20 years. Doing School Differently

After many delays due to Covid_19, the biennial Doing School Differently (DSD) conference was held in Adelaide 30 June – 1 July 2022, following the success of DSD16 in Melbourne and DSD18 on the Gold Coast. Absent Voices: Interdisciplinary Lightning Talks
