Enhance your Griffith Experts profile with a single click

Did you know that one of the many benefits of depositing your research to Griffith’s institutional repository Griffith Research Online (GRO) is enhancing your Griffith Experts profile?

GRO, Symplectic Elements and Griffith Experts are connected. So if you’ve claimed a research output in Symplectic Elements but haven’t deposited it to GRO yet, its details might appear messy or incomplete in Griffith Experts. This is because those details are usually captured automatically by Symplectic Elements from external sources like Web of Science and Scopus, and may include HTML tags, errors in author name formatting or be missing key information.

The good news is that there’s a quick and easy solution! By clicking the ‘deposit’ button in Symplectic Elements, the details of your research output will be sent to the Library team to be cleaned and enhanced. Not only do these enhancements make your research outputs more findable through search engines like Google and Google Scholar, but they’re also fed back to Griffith Experts via Symplectic Elements to keep your research output list in Experts looking spick and span. And if the Library has been able to upload an Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) to GRO for articles published via the subscription route, this will be available for download directly through Experts as well!
