Tip of the week: Finish exams with a bit of self-care

You did it! Exams are finally over

You’ve put in the hard work, and now it’s time to give yourself permission to rest, recover, and reset. Whether that means lounging on the beach, getting lost in a good book, binge-watching your favourite shows, or spending quality time with the people you love— your break is yours to enjoy however you’d like.

But here’s the thing: break weeks aren’t just about Netflix and naps (though those are important!). They’re also the perfect opportunity to build some habits that’ll set you up for success next trimester.

Here are a few ideas to consider:

Get your sleep back on track – A consistent sleep routine does wonders for both your mind and body. Your future self will thank you!

Fuel yourself well – Eating nutritious food isn’t just good for your physical health. It can also boost your mood, sharpen your memory, and help you sleep better.

Move your body – Even a little regular exercise can prevent health issues down the track, plus it’s amazing for energy and focus.

Sharpen your skills – Feeling motivated? This could be a great time to brush up on study techniques, digital skills, research methods, assignment writing, or referencing. No pressure though!

The best part? You don’t have to do this alone. Our Library study spaces are open throughout the break, and our team is here if you need any help or support.

So go ahead—enjoy your well-deserved break! You’ve earned it.
