Study spaces for everyone!
The Library provides a variety of safe and inclusive study spaces across all our five libraries. Whether you’re looking for a silent, quiet or social space—we’ve got you covered.

Silent or quiet study
You can find a quiet study space in each library, perfect for focused study or a relaxing break. Look for signage to show designated quiet study spaces or speak to staff for directions. When using these areas be mindful of others to help keep our quiet study areas silent for everyone to use.

Social study
Our social study spaces are a great place to get together with your classmates. Whether you’re working on a group assignment or preparing for an exam with a study mate, the Library offers a range of seating options, including sofas, booths and desks.

Study rooms
Need something a little more private? Each campus library has study spaces that you can book for group work. Book a study room online via the Study spaces webpage.

Assistive Technology rooms
Library Assistive Technology rooms are available for students with disability. Contact Student Disability and Accessibility to find out more information about facilities available at your campus Library.
Discover the Sensory friendly study space at Nathan Library and the newly completed sensory space at Queensland College of Art and Design. These spaces boast adjustable lighting, individual desks and comfortable sofas. Designed to be a silent and distraction free zone, it is open for anyone who can benefit from such an environment.

Discover art right where you study
When you visit any of our libraries, take a moment to look around. You’ll find a wide collection of artwork featured throughout the buildings for everyone to enjoy.

Don’t forget to apply for access to our 24/7 safe study space at Nathan and Gold Coast Library if you wish to study on campus after hours.
