{"id":14060,"date":"2020-06-02T11:00:33","date_gmt":"2020-06-02T01:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/testblogs.griffith.edu.au\/library\/?p=14060"},"modified":"2020-06-02T10:07:05","modified_gmt":"2020-06-02T00:07:05","slug":"trimester-2-reading-lists-are-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/testblogs.griffith.edu.au\/library\/2020\/06\/02\/trimester-2-reading-lists-are-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Trimester 2 Reading lists are now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Library has released Reading lists for Trimester two for editing by Course Convenors.<\/p>\n<p>Why use Reading Lists?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students can:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access their course readings in one definitive online list which integrates with their Learning@Griffith course site and to the Course Profile system;<\/li>\n<li>Link directly through to readings that are online and<\/li>\n<li>Export a citation list, add notes and annotate readings and even track reading progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academics can:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quickly add a wide variety of resources, including online resources from the Griffith Library collection (eBooks, articles, streaming video), freely accessible resources from the internet, images, and request digitisations of print resources and<\/li>\n<li>Customise reading lists to suit their teaching &#8211; by week, module, topic or assessment item<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Library will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all new required resources added to lists are purchased and online access maintained;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all online resource links are maintained and updated for seamless connection and within our publisher licensing agreements and<\/li>\n<li>Resolve copyright issues for digitisations and automate copyright compliance\u00a0to assist the university in meeting our legal requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reading lists provide a consistent location for your required and recommended reading for students.\u00a0 In Trimester one from February 21<sup>st<\/sup> until May 22<sup>nd<\/sup> the Reading lists had:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>343 000 student sessions<\/strong>, which is active engagement with Reading lists and<\/li>\n<li><strong>49 000 views,15 000 downloads<\/strong> and <strong>4 000 prints<\/strong> of digitised resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can find more information on how to use and get the best from Reading lists with the Library\u2019s how-to guides and videos.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/teaching\/reading-lists\">https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/teaching\/reading-lists<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-14031 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/testblogs.griffith.edu.au\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2020\/05\/The-Library-here-to-help-logo-_-twitter-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Library has released Reading lists for Trimester two for editing by Course Convenors.
