The\u00a0<\/span>Vice Chancellor\u2019s Awards for Excellence in Professional and Support Staff Service<\/span><\/a>\u00a0are an opportunity for the University to recognise and honour outstanding performance by individuals and teams. These awards recognise and acknowledge individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond their usual duties to provide exceptional service on behalf of the University.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year,\u00a0<\/span>we are pleased to announce that\u00a0<\/span>the Library\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Academic Engagement Services Team<\/span>\u00a0(AES)<\/span>\u00a0has been Highly Commended in the category of Excellence in Enhancing Teaching<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AES\u00a0<\/span>encompasses\u00a0<\/span>the Library\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Learning and Teaching\u00a0<\/span>support<\/span>\u00a0and Researcher\u00a0<\/span>support<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>teams<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0They<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>possess<\/span>\u00a0specialist knowledge in subject areas such as\u00a0<\/span>Science, Education, Business, Arts, Law and Health<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>provide<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>research and study support to<\/span>\u00a0undergraduate students, academic staff and researchers<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Just a few of the services that AES provide are our\u00a0<\/span>Earlybird<\/span>\u00a0workshops<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Referencing Guides<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>one-on-one consultations<\/span><\/a>\u00a0for a variety of study, research and teaching enquiries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether they are working hard behind the scenes or engaging with Griffith\u2019s students, staff or researchers, AES have\u00a0<\/span>demonstrated their commitmen<\/span>t to exceptional service and have truly embodied the Library\u2019s motto:\u00a0<\/span>H<\/span><\/i>ere to help<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
