The day continues to be commemorated in allied countries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">After World War Two, the Australian Government agreed to the United Kingdom\u2019s proposal that Armistice Day be renamed Remembrance Day to commemorate those who were killed in both World Wars.
