Find information to help you with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Study skills: learn all the strategies you need, from time management to online learning.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the task: find out how to break down your assignment questions to really focus on what you need to cover.<\/li>\n<li>Researching: get tips on using Library resources and suggestions on how to start your research.<\/li>\n<li>Academic writing: discover strategies for planning and structuring your assignments, including the layout of a report.<\/li>\n<li>Referencing: learn why it\u2019s important and what goes into a reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Writing and Referencing workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Library offers multiple online workshops to assist with writing your assignments and referencing. These workshops include Structuring Assignments, Using References in your Writing and Understanding Referencing and run until the end of April. You can register for an available workshop on the <a href=\"https:\/\/librarycalendar.griffith.edu.au\/calendar\/workshops\/?cid=11062&amp;t=d&amp;d=0000-00-00&amp;cal=11062&amp;inc=0\">Library Workshops<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Write Assignments webpages <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On our Study webpages you can find more information on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/study\/write-assignments\">writing assignments<\/a> including information about different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/study\/write-assignments\/assignment-types\">assignment types<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/study\/write-assignments\/academic-writing\">academic writing<\/a> and how to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/study\/write-assignments\/structure\">structure assignments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Referencing guides<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have referencing guides for a range of styles including APA, Chicago and Harvard. These guides include examples on how to quote and paraphrase in the text of your assignment and how to format reference lists.<\/p>\n<p>You can determine the referencing style for your course by checking your assignment task sheet and rubrics, or asking your course convenor. You can then refer to the relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/library\/study\/referencing\">referencing guide<\/a> when writing your assignment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Library.
