Discover large, interdisciplinary, layered datasets to support research.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

7 October:\u00a0<\/span>Reproducible Research: Building Business Continuity<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is a seminar that will\u00a0help you identify ways to make your research reproducible and transparent, safeguard yourself against loss of data or personnel and more.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

14 October:\u00a0This\u00a0<\/span>EndNote workshop<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is an online tutorial followed by a\u00a0Q&A session and\u00a0provides an introduction to using EndNote for research and reference management.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

18 October:\u00a0<\/span>Managing your research literature<\/span><\/a>\u00a0will provide techniques and strategies to help\u00a0<\/span>students\/academics manage their literature, organise ideas, references,\u00a0content\u00a0and research material. This will help participants create a workflow for their research.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

19 October:\u00a0<\/span>Data Visualisation Basics<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is an online session exploring methods and tools to create publication quality visualisations of structured data from spreadsheets.\u00a0 Tools covered include MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat DC, along with\u00a0open source\u00a0software\u00a0Voyant\u00a0and Raw Graphs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

21 October:\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>Measuring and showcasing research: scholarly metrics<\/span><\/a>\u00a0workshop will explore metrics in Web of Science, Incites, Scopus and Google scholar to help you find publication metrics for promotion or grant applications.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

27 October:\u00a0In\u00a0<\/span>Digital tools for research<\/span><\/a>\u00a0you will become familiar with a wide range of digital tools available to assist you throughout your research journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
