No, not Twitch streamers (though we\u2019re sure they\u2019d be excited about this too)\u2014we’re referring to twitchers:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t heard the term before, odds are you haven\u2019t heard of the Gouldian finch either. Sightings of the Gouldian finch have decreased over the last few decades and since then the colourful little birds have been considered rare and endangered.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The finches have recently reappeared in northern Darwin, with twitchers and other eager sightseers flocking to catch a glimpse.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
