It<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\"> was originally located in<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\"> the inner Brisbane suburb of<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\"> South Brisbane<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\"> before moving to the Queensland University of Technology\u2019s (QUT) Gardens Point campus in 1975. It <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\">was a Queensland government owned institution until the federal government <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\">began<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261487055 BCX9\"> tertiary institution amalgamations in the late 1980s. Con graduates who you may be familiar with include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/news.griffith.edu.au\/2017\/11\/29\/griffith-grad-katie-noonan-appointed-musical-director-for-gc2018\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Katie Noonan<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/advancement\/notable-alumni\/dami-im\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dami Im<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/news.griffith.edu.au\/2021\/03\/01\/kate-miller-heidke-receives-honorary-doctorate\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Kate Miller-Heidke<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
