This free in-conversation event celebrates the release of Dinesh&#8217;s profound new book, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/griffithuni.on.worldcat.org\/oclc\/1321074915\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Stronger: How Losing Everything Set Me Free<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and is brought to you by Griffith University Library and <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Griffith Review<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dinesh\u2019s story is one of triumph over adversity, of seizing control over life in impossible circumstances.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dinesh was midway through medical school when he sustained a spinal cord injury in a catastrophic car accident. Never surrendering his ambition to practise medicine, he instead viewed the profession through the prism of his experience. Dinesh went on to become the first medical graduate in Queensland with quadriplegia and is now an emergency doctor at Gold Coast University Hospital.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dinesh is also a lawyer, a disability advocate, a researcher, and a lover of cars, chocolate and \u201990s hip-hop.
