Whilst conversations around climate change and its impact are part of our everyday lives, potentially less familiar are the conversations around climate justice and the connection of the climate crisis to social, racial and environmental issues. By safeguarding the rights of the most vulnerable, climate justice seeks a human-centred approach to achieving equitable and fair solutions to the climate crisis.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here at Griffith, <\/span>Climate Justice project<\/span><\/a> lead <\/span>Professor Sue Harris Rimmer<\/span><\/a> oversees a team of researchers who are improving climate diplomacy and helping empower impacted communities to make informed decisions and collaborate on climate solutions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Open access and climate justice<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Open for Climate Justice<\/span><\/i> is the theme for this year\u2019s <\/span>International Open Access Week<\/span><\/a>, 24 – 30 October.
