data-contrast=\"none\"> is an initiative which encourages communities to organise events or activities which are inclusive of everybody. Social Inclusion Week was started by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialinclusionweek.com.au\/founderfjonathonwelch\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Jonathan Welch AM<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u2014creator of the Choir of Hard Knocks\u2014in the hopes of connecting local communities and addressing the isolation and exclusion of marginalised people. Organisations offering these services around South-East Queensland include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/communify.org.au\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Communify<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (based in Brisbane), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yfs.org.au\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">YFS<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (in Logan) and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/volunteeringgc.org.au\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Volunteering Gold Coast<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. You may also like to try searching <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mycommunitydirectory.com.au\/Queensland\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">My Community Directory<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> for groups which appeal to your own needs or interests.
