Thursday 1 June, 10 am \u2013 12 noon <\/span><\/b>Reproducible Research – Building Business Continuity<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop will help you to identify ways to make your research reproducible; safeguard against fraud and secure your data.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 7 June, 10 am \u2013 12 noon <\/span><\/b>Data organisation in spreadsheets for researchers<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn how to structure and organise data in spreadsheets to make computation easier. This workshop is based on the Data Carpentry workshop for Social Scientists.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 14 June 2023, 10.30 am \u2013 12 noon <\/span><\/b>Conveying the argument in academic writing<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Explore ways to develop a clear argument in your writing as well as identifying arguments in the writing of others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday 15 June, 10 am \u2013 12 noon <\/span><\/b>Literature search strategies for Systematic Quantitative Literature Reviews: how to find papers and where to look<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During this session research librarians will demonstrate the development of a robust, well-documented search strategy, designed to locate all eligible material using an example review question.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday 22 June, 10 am \u2013 11.30 am <\/span><\/b>Data Visualisation Basics<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Explore methods and tools to create publication quality visualisations of structured, tabular data. Tools covered include MS Excel and open-source tool Raw Graphs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 21 June, 12 noon \u2013 1 pm <\/span><\/b>EndNote Q&A<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn the basics and start using EndNote using the Library’s EndNote Basics Tutorial, then register to join the Endnote Q&A live virtual session. Bring your questions and get answers and tips from specialist librarians and other EndNote users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 27 June, 10 am \u2013 12 noon <\/span><\/b>Exploring your literature using bibliometris and VosViewer\u00a0<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop will provide an overview of bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. This is a powerful tool for constructing and visualising bibliometric networks and relationships between pieces of literature.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 28 June 10 am \u2013 11 am <\/span><\/b>Managing your research data<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn about data management practices and the data related resources and services available to Griffith researchers throughout the various stages of the research life cycle.\u00a0 This is a companion workshop to Reproducible Research: Building Business Continuity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
