Our campus libraries have been designed to foster a sense of belonging and help you thrive on your academic journey. Continuing our library spotlight series, today we\u2019ll reveal what makes our Mt Gravatt and Queensland Conservatorium libraries special.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mt Gravatt library<\/span><\/a> is in the Information Services Centre (M13) and has the honour of being our library with the most levels. Across these three levels you\u2019re sure to find a spot that is perfect for your needs. When you enter on level 1, you\u2019ll see our friendly library staff, before being beckoned by our plentiful computers and printers. You\u2019ll also find comfy chairs where you can enjoy the view out of the floor-to-ceiling windows and have the convenience of connecting your personal devices to our Wi-Fi and printers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Head up to level 2, where you\u2019ll see the library collection, including our specialised curriculum collection. There are also private spaces available for silent study. Then dive down to \u2018the basement\u2019 on level 0, where you\u2019ll find our social study space safely snuggled away from the harsh sunlight. Seeking a private space for your group work? Book one of our two <\/span>bookable group study rooms<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During trimester, Mt Gravatt library is open Monday to Friday, 9 am \u2013 5 pm. Check out all our service hours on our <\/span>web page<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nestled in the heart of the South Bank parklands, the<\/span> Queensland Conservatorium library<\/span><\/a> (S01 1.23) is waiting to welcome you. The campus is affectionately known as \u2018the Con\u2019, and its library occupies a single level. It has everything you\u2019d expect and more, and our friendly staff are always there if you ever need any assistance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Computing and printing facilities and two <\/span>bookable study spaces<\/span><\/a> for group work are tucked in amongst the physical collection, which includes an extensive catalogue of musical scores. And if you need a spot to study alone, you\u2019ll find private study spaces where you can connect your device to our Wi-Fi and printers. But, as it is \u2018the Con\u2019, we can\u2019t always guarantee complete silence. At any time you might just hear the next <\/span>Brett Dean<\/span><\/a> or <\/span>Kate Miller-Heidke<\/span><\/a> quietly humming away next to you.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
