Panel speaker, <\/span>Associate Professor Jennifer Boddy<\/span><\/a> is Dean of Griffith\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals Performance.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>Jennifer\u2019s research is in climate change, disasters, and domestic and family violence. Most recently her work has focused on the intersections between these areas, and she has examined alternative approaches to working with male perpetrators of violence. Jennifer\u2019s research is grounded in a commitment to social and environmental justice, and through her research, she seeks to create safe and sustainable environments free from violence. In her role as Dean, Jennifer is responsible for driving staff and student engagement with and performance against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. \u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Panel speaker, <\/span>Professor Peter Anderson<\/span><\/a> comes from the Walpiri and Murinpatha peoples of Northern Territory and is the Professor and Director of Griffith\u2019s Indigenous Research Unit.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Peter\u2019s research spans the area of Australian Indigenous education, educational systems, curriculum and pedagogical interventions and the intersecting relationships with indigenous peoples both globally and domestically. Peter is a member of the ARC College of Experts, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Queensland Academy of Arts and Science and member of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies and a Lifelong Fellow of the Atlantic Institute at Oxford University. He also sits in research advisory positions for the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, the Diversity Council of Australia and the Australian Education Research Association.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
