What Goes Around Comes Around\u2019 is the theme of 2023\u2019s <\/span>National Recycling Week<\/span><\/a> (13-19 November). This is an annual event that educates and empowers us to improve our recycling practices.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While 78% of Australians self-identify as good recyclers, the <\/span>Recycling Behaviours Report 2023<\/span><\/a> reveals that many of us are making common waste disposal mistakes that result in the contamination of our recycling.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Contaminants can diminish the quality of other recyclables and even render them non-recyclable. In some cases, just a few contaminated bins can ruin an entire load of recyclables. So, this year\u2019s National Recycling Week campaign emphasises quality over quantity. It\u2019s not just about recycling more; it\u2019s about recycling better.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
