Newly published research in Griffith\u2019s <\/span>Creative Works<\/span><\/a> by <\/span>Dr Catherine Grant<\/span><\/a> highlights the transformative potential of music sustainability in driving positive social change. The project,<\/span> Sounding Good: Advancing Cultural Sustainability and Social Justice through Music<\/span><\/i><\/a>, delves into how grassroots efforts to preserve vibrant musical traditions can champion social justice.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sounding Good<\/span><\/i> is a collaboration between Dr Grant and nine musicians and cultural leaders from across five continents, who either founded or lead the case study initiatives undertaken in the project. While the results of the research project have or are due to be published in a variety of traditional outlets, Creative Works captures the <\/span>Sounding Good<\/span><\/i> project as a <\/span>website presentation<\/span><\/a>. The website was created to reach a broader, public audience and is used as a platform for readers to explore the case studies in more detail \u2013 particularly their <\/span>links to the UN Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
