If you are a researcher seeking to understand how to find and work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research and data, Griffith\u2019s <\/span>Indigenous Research Unit<\/span><\/a> (IRU) and the Library have recently collaborated to develop the <\/span>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research<\/span><\/a> guide.<\/span> In this guide you will find links to research resources, such as data, statistics and journals, and guidance on evaluating your research. There is also information on copyright and links to support areas within Griffith University, including the IRU.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The IRU supports Indigenous research, advocating for Indigenous appropriate approaches and fostering organisational engagement with and between Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers. The IRU works in collaboration with <\/span>GUMURRII Student Success Unit<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Griffith Graduate Research School (GGRS)<\/span><\/a> to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates with support and guidance throughout their research journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you are studying on campus or online, the IRU\u2019s dedicated centre at Nathan campus is there to help. You can access a range of formal and informal support from the team who are flexible and responsive to your individual project and career ambitions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
