Often taking artistic forms, creative research typically extends beyond traditional scholarly outputs, engaging a broader audience through entertainment and provocation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As an example, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/griffith.figshare.com\/articles\/media\/Imaginary_Aviary_-_A_musical_performance_incorporating_speculative_ornithology\/25009889\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Imaginary Aviary<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> premiered at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bleachfestival.com.au\/festival-archive\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">2023 BLEACH* Festival<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Composed and curated by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/experts.griffith.edu.au\/19085-vanessa-tomlinson\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Professor Vanessa Tomlinson<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, the piece was performed by nine improvisational musicians. Described as a work of \u2018speculative ornithology\u2019, it merges creative research with climate adaptation, blending musical improvisation with birdsong.
