To empower the next generation, we must reflect on how we can conduct research respectfully. If you are a researcher seeking to understand how to find and work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research and data, Griffith\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/research\/about-griffith-research\/indigenous-research-unit\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Indigenous Research Unit<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> (IRU) and the Library have collaborated to develop the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/libraryguides.griffith.edu.au\/researching-first-peoples-topics\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> guide. In this guide you will find links to research resources, such as data, statistics and journals, and guidance on evaluating your research. There is also information on copyright and links to support areas within Griffith University, including the IRU.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The IRU supports Indigenous research, advocating for Indigenous appropriate approaches and fostering organisational engagement with and between Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers. The IRU works in collaboration with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/gumurrii\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">GUMURRII Student Success Unit<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.griffith.edu.au\/griffith-graduate-research-school\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Griffith Graduate Research School<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> (GGRS) to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates with support and guidance throughout their research journey.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">As we near the end of NAIDOC Week 2025, join us in honouring the strength and vision of Elders and help us build a legacy for the next generation that we can all be proud to share.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16880 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/testblogs.griffith.edu.au\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2024\/04\/The-Library-here-to-help-logo-_-Transparent-300x300.png\" alt=\"red circle.
