We all know that referencing is an important part of academic culture, but it can sometimes feel like an overwhelming and time-consuming task! To make the process easier, we’ve put together some practical tips to help you save time, reduce stress and reference with confidence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reference as you go<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the best ways to stay on top of your referencing is to collect the necessary information as you research. You can then add your in-text citations and compile the reference list as you write, rather than leaving this to the end. Don\u2019t forget to leave time to proofread your reference list before submitting!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bookmark the referencing guides<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll likely be referring to the <\/span>Library\u2019s referencing guides<\/span><\/a> often during your studies. Make sure you bookmark the guide for your style so it\u2019s always within reach.<\/span><\/p>\n
