Did you know that one of the<\/span> <\/span>many benefits<\/span><\/span><\/a> of depositing your research to <\/span>Griffith\u2019s institutional repository<\/span> <\/span>Griffith Research Online (GRO)<\/span><\/span><\/a> is enhancing your <\/span><\/span>Griffith Experts<\/span><\/span><\/a> profile? <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>GRO, <\/span><\/span>Symplectic Elements<\/span><\/span><\/a> and Griffith Experts are <\/span>connect<\/span>ed<\/span>. <\/span>So<\/span> i<\/span>f <\/span>you\u2019ve<\/span> claimed a research output in <\/span>Symplectic<\/span> Elements but <\/span>haven\u2019t<\/span> deposited it to GRO<\/span> yet<\/span>, its <\/span>details might appear <\/span>mess<\/span>y <\/span>or <\/span>incomplete in<\/span> Griffith Experts<\/span>. This is because <\/span>th<\/span>ose details<\/span> are usually<\/span> c<\/span>aptured <\/span>automatically <\/span>by <\/span>Symplectic<\/span> Elements from<\/span> external sources<\/span> like <\/span><\/span>Web of Science<\/span><\/span><\/a> and <\/span><\/span>Scopus<\/span><\/span><\/a>,<\/span> and <\/span>may <\/span>include HTML tags<\/span>, errors in author name formatting <\/span>or<\/span> be<\/span> missing key information<\/span>. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>The good news is that <\/span>there\u2019s<\/span> a quick and easy solution! By <\/span><\/span>clicking the ‘deposit’ button<\/span><\/span><\/a> in <\/span>Symplectic<\/span> Elements, the details of your <\/span>research output <\/span>will be sent to the <\/span>Library<\/span> team <\/span>to be<\/span> cleaned <\/span>and enhanced<\/span>.<\/span> Not only <\/span>do <\/span>these <\/span>enhancements<\/span> make your research outputs <\/span><\/span>more findable<\/span><\/span><\/a> through search engines like Google and Google Scholar<\/span>, <\/span>but <\/span>they\u2019re<\/span> also fed back to <\/span>Griffith Experts<\/span> via <\/span>Symplectic<\/span> Elements<\/span> to <\/span>keep<\/span> your<\/span> research output list<\/span> in<\/span> Experts<\/span> looking <\/span>spick and span. <\/span>And if the <\/span>Library<\/span> has been able to upload <\/span>an<\/span> <\/span>Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM)<\/span><\/span><\/a> to GRO for articles published via the subscription route, this will be available for download directly through Experts<\/span> as well<\/span>!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
